Michael Hilton, tenor, has been an singer since an early age. He has performed with many distinguished conductors including: Helmuth Rilling, Anton Armstrong, Mia Savage, and Ryan Heller. Since an early age Michael has performed in many local ensambles: Oregon Repertory Singer’s Youth Choir, Pacific Youth Choir, Grant High School Royal Blue’s, Portland Symphonic Choir, the Bach Cantata Choir and Portland Camerata. He has been the featured soloist in J.S. Bach’s Cantatas 106 and 130, Robert Kyr’s Santa Fe Vespers, as well as Brahms - Zigeunerlieder at the Oregon Bach Festival Youth Choral Academy. In addiction to Cantores In Ecclesia, Michael is also a member of Portland Vocal Consort, Pacific University’s Chamber Singers and Concert Choir, the choir of St. Michael and All Angels, and Pacific University’s premiere male a cappella group, Splendid Audacity. Michael is currently studying voice with Scott Tuomi and is seeking his B.A. in both Vocal performance and Business Administration with a concentration in Management at Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR. Michael intends to seek his Masters in vocal performance in the fall of 2012.
