 John Nicol, bass, came to the Portland area from the Navajo Nation in 1992 to visit family. Here he met his wife, Carillon, a professional singer, who introduced him to the rich musical life of Portland. He joined Cantores in Ecclesia in July of 1997 as a bass. John also sings with the Portland Symphonic Choir and with a small Baha’i ensemble.
